Lovely lotus pond located in Echo Park, Los Angeles. The Lotus Festival occurs every year in July. A great time to see these large and beautiful flowers. The empty pods are also very photogenic. I wish I could have gone in the pond to collect them. They make a great addition to flower arrangements.

And not to be forgotten or missed are the tulips at Descanso Gardens in La Cañada, Flintrige, California.
